Volunteer Spotlight

Fare For All relies on hundreds of volunteers to help distribute food to the community. From helping with packaging food to distributions in the community and spreading the word to those they know, volunteers are vital to the success of Fare For All. Marlene Touchberry is one of our many dedicated volunteers. Marlene has lived in St. Louis Park for 26 years and has always enjoyed giving back to her community. For the past year and a half, Marlene has been one of the consistent faces participants see at our St. Louis Park site. When talking about why she volunteers, Marlene responds: “I enjoy giving back and helping people in the community. Fare For All provides a good deal on food and lots of variety. It’s also very enjoyable working with the other volunteers that help out each month.” Fare For All is able to exist because of the support and dedication of volunteers like Marlene. Many volunteers understand the need to support their communities, and Fare For All is a resource that benefits everyone looking to stretch their food budget. Thank you to Marlene and all of our volunteers for their on-going support.

If you would like to get involved with volunteering: Contact Kate Burggraff with STEP to volunteer at our St. Louis Park location, 952.925.4899 x14, Kate@stepslp.org.
